Keywords:
abstinence from eating, Hb levels, pregnant women, rest patternsAbstract
Adequate Hb levels are needed by every individual since the fetus is still in the womb, infants, children, adolescents, adults to old age. Pregnant women are a vulnerable group, because they need normal hemoglobin levels so that the status of their diet and rest patterns must be maintained, in order to give birth to healthy babies. The purpose of this study was to identify abstinence, rest patterns and hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Observational analytic research design with a cross sectional approach with the number of respondents 58 respondents, sampling using simple random sampling technique. The test used is the Chi-Squared Test. Based on the results of the Chi-Square Tests analysis of resting patterns, p value = 0.000 < (0.05), so H1 was rejected so that there was an effect of resting patterns on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Meanwhile, based on the results of the Chi-Square Tests analysis of abstinence, the p value of the variable = 0.000 < (0.05), so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of abstinence from eating on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. From the results of the Chie Squared Test statistical test, there is an effect of abstinence from eating and resting patterns on hemoglobin levels.
