Abstract

Following their periods, women, particularly teenagers, sometimes struggle with vaginal discharge. Maintaining proper personal hygiene is necessary to prevent this issue. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how young women's personal hygiene practices during their periods relate to their parents' level of knowledge and involvement in health education. This study employs a cross-sectional methodology and a quantitative observational analytical research design. Students in grades 7 and 8 made up the study's population. Using the stratified random sampling technique, the study's sample size was 162. Young women's behavior is the dependent variable, and parents' comprehension and involvement in health education are the independent variables.
