One of the major postoperative consequences that raises morbidity and sometimes even patient mortality is an infection at the surgical site. Cesarean surgery is one of the surgical wounds that frequently results in infection during pregnancy. When antihypertensives are unable to lower blood pressure, which remains high before complications like eclampsia emerge, pre-eclampsia must be managed. However, complications like bleeding and infection might happen if the Caesarean section is not performed correctly. Additionally, dietary state has an impact on the likelihood of surgical wound infection. The mother's nutritional health can affect how quickly the post-SC wound heals by being inadequate or excessive. A literature review was performed as the research methodology.
